Driver Improvement

Sometimes we all need a little reminder about how to stay safe on the road. The Maryland Driver Improvement Program is just that reminder.

If you have received a ticket for a motor vehicle violation you may need to take the Driver Improvement Program (DIP). Some people choose to take this program prior to their court date as a sign of proactive rehabilitation. Other violators with 3-5 points can be required to take a DIP program.

Our program is an online only program. If you are under 18 you are not allowed to take an online program. Once you have completed the online portion of DIP you will need to schedule an appointment to take the final exam (20 questions) at our Silver Spring office. You will need to bring a photo ID, you printed certificate of completion and payment of $75 (cash or credit card only)

Testing is usually scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 2pm – 5pm. Testing is done by appointment only. Appointments are only scheduled once the online portion has been completed. To schedule an appointment please call our office at (240) 704-3329.
